I did not want to leave and would book again. The hotel was located near bars and restaurants and the main avenue and walking distance to the beach. This accommodation was in the very central location down to the sea. Plus, it was approx 5 mins walk from Spiaggia del Cannone.

We had an amazing stay at this hidden treasure in the center of Tropea. The thick glass windows and air conditioning ensured a good and quiet night's sleep. The three spacious and clean rooms were well-equipped and stylish. The breakfast served on the rooftop terrace was the best we've had, with fresh and homemade options that showcased true southern Italian hospitality. The location was perfect, with a short walk to the train station, city center, and the beach. It felt like staying with friends, thanks to the exceptional hosts Carlo and Karina.
We felt totally relaxed during our stay at this wonderful boutique hotel. The hosts went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable and nothing was too much trouble.

The room was spacious and quiet, with a super comfortable bed. The bathroom and shower were decent in size. One of the highlights was the breakfast, served on a cozy terrace with sea views. The homemade food, including amazing cakes, made with local products and fresh fruits from the garden, was a good start to the day. The hosts were friendly, cute, and helpful. They were great for their guests. I had a fantastic stay at Don Carlo and would love to return someday.

The location was amazing! Just a short walk to the beach, local shops, and restaurants. The hospitality of the hosts was outstanding, they were so friendly and accommodating. They even catered breakfast to our dietary needs, including gluten-free options. And the rooftop terrace where breakfast was served was absolutely delightful, with a beautiful view of the surroundings.
The noise from the town festivals was a bit bothersome, but with the provided earplugs it wasn't too much of an issue. Just be aware that the festivities can go on late into the night.

I had the most fantastic experience staying at Don Carlo in Tropea. The location was superb, with just a short walk to the beach, local shops, and restaurants. The family-owned hotel was charming and the room I stayed in was super clean, modern, and very comfortable. I appreciated the small touches like having a kettle and bar fridge in the room. The highlight of my stay was definitely the delicious breakfast served on the lovely roof terrace. Plus, the hosts were so accommodating and friendly, catering to my dietary needs as a coeliac. They even baked a cake for us on our last morning! Despite some noise from the Tropea Onion Festival, the soundproofing was effective. I highly recommend staying at Don Carlo for a good and comfortable experience.

The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly, especially when it came to catering for dietary restrictions. As someone who is gluten-free, I appreciated the multiple breakfast options available for me. The homemade cakes were a delicious treat! the breakfast terrace offered stunning views and added to the overall enjoyable experience.
The towels provided were not up to par with the rest of the hotel. They seemed old and worn out, which was a bit disappointing.
